WMC is pleased to host the 2022 Taiwan Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission when they visit Portland this week. The delegation is made up of Taiwanese government officials and representatives from mills and some of the largest importers of U.S. grains. While in Portland, the team will meet with Oregon governor Kate Brown, and attend a signing ceremony at WMC for a letter of intent to purchase 69.8 million bushels of U.S. wheat in the next two years. We wrap up the final week of crop quality sampling this week and begin product quality testing on all of the samples received over the past eight weeks.
