This week WMC wraps up its 2024-2025 fiscal year and the team prepares for the upcoming crop quality testing season. Over the next three months, Liman Liu, Operations Manager, will lead the team to test hundreds of samples of this year’s harvest in order to share weekly crop reports by class and production zone. The soft white and hard white wheat data will be incorporated into our annual USW CQ Report as well as the PNW Soft White Wheat Quality Report that is published in the Fall to detail grain, flour and end use quality. It is a short week for the Wheat Marketing Center as we will be closed on Friday in observance of Independence Day. We wish you a safe and fun celebration of our democracy!
