This week WMC hosts visits from both Simplot Grower Solutions and the Oregon State University (OSU) Turkish Cochran Fellowship. Dave Stone, former Director of FIC, brings a group of scientists, Agriculture and Science ministry officials, farm cooperatives and food industry representatives to learn more about climate smart agricultural practices in the US and the role of WMC in the crop quality process. On Wednesday, WMC recognizes the achievements of our longtime neighbor and partner OSU Food Innovation Center (FIC) at their 25th Anniversary celebration. FIC is an incubator and educational partner to food and beverage makers in the Portland area and throughout the state.
