This week Technical Director Dr. Jayne Bock attends the Soft Red Wheat Quality Laboratory’s 70th Annual Research Review in Wooster, Ohio. The Eastern Quality Council provides a forum for breeders, producers, and industry members to evaluate and discuss new and emerging breeding lines of soft red wheat for their use in crackers, cookies, cakes, and other soft wheat products. Wheat Marketing Center, WMC Laboratory Services, Inc., and WMC Title Holding Company hold their annual meetings and board elections. Commission representatives from Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Washington will be present to participate in these essential meetings.
