This week we host the annual Montana Wheat & Barley Committee (MWBC) growers tour. Each year MWBC gathers farmers and other wheat industry professionals for demonstrations, market updates and visits to bakeries and grain terminals. We customized this tour to also include some speakers from US Wheat Associates and Columbia Grain International. The group will experience on-location tours and education with the Federal Grain Inspection Service, Shaver Transportation, United Grain Corporation Export Elevator, Marsee Baking and Dave’s Killer Bread. Connecting growers with customers and others is an essential function of Wheat Marketing Center to promote the value and quality of U.S. grown wheat.
