This week, Shinhak (David) Oh, USW Food/Bakery Technologist will bring a team of professionals from Korea to our center for a Bakery Product Development Short Course. This custom hands-on course is designed to provide participants with a better understanding of formulation, processing technology, evaluation techniques, and the functionality of various baked products such as bagels, donuts, and pound cake. In addition to the professional lectures and lab workshops, the team will be touring a commercial bakery, local wheat farm, and participating in a guided local market survey.
