This week WMC Executive Director Mike Moran and Technical Director Dr. Jayne Bock travel to Santiago, Chile for the U.S. Wheat Associates (USW) Core Competency Training. This annual meeting brings together technical staff from USW offices across the globe to review current research, broaden their technical training, discuss market development, and collaborate on strategies for meeting the needs of customers of U.S. grown wheat. WMC was honored to host the core competency training in 2022. This year Jayne presents the results of the recent RVA study, and a demonstration of the hand folding and mechanical methods used for sponge cake evaluation.
