The technical team is in the lab this week working on the USW sponsored sponge cake testing method study. Technical Director Dr. Jayne Bock and Food Scientist Dr. Andrew Mense travel to Illinois to attend the Cereals & Grains Association Annual Meeting. This meeting provides an opportunity for the team to network and access the latest information on cereal grain science. On Tuesday, retiring Operations Manager Bon Lee, incoming Operations Manager Liman Liu, and Executive Director Mike Moran meet with representatives from OMIC, a longtime partner lab providing agricultural testing, and Kanematsu, a centuries old Japanese trading company.
