This week Wheat Marketing Center (WMC) welcomes a group of quality assurance and manufacturing managers from several mills in South Asia for a tour and discussion regarding this year’s crop, organized by U.S. Wheat Associates. The WMC team begins the testing phase of crop quality process including moisture, ash, protein, falling number, color, and gluten. They will also be in the Innovation and Bake Labs producing end-products such as noodles, sponge cakes, and pup loaves for testing and evaluations.
