So far this harvest season, WMC has processed over 600 samples from Idaho, Oregon, and Washington for the annual crop quality survey. Weekly test results and analysis reports are shared globally with wheat industry experts. This week the team pivots from individual sample collection and analysis, to creating commercially representative composites, for milling and product production and testing in the coming weeks. These composites are made based on geographic zone maps and protein content. Hard White wheat milling and testing begins this week followed by Soft White.
