This week marks the continuation of PNW wheat sample intake for crop quality analysis at WMC, as we enter the second week of this process. We are pleased to welcome guests from Showa Sangyo and Mitsui Tokyo, who will learn about our facility and the methodology behind crop quality assessment through discussions with our Executive Director Mike Moran and Liman Liu, Operations & Proprietary Projects Manager. Meanwhile, Technical Director Dr. Jayne Bock will be engaged as a speaker at the Extrusion Processing Short Course in Pullman, Washington. Extrusion is a very common processing technology used in the food industry to produce direct expanded snack foods, cereals, and other products.
