Soft wheat research continues this week as Bon, Andrew, and Liman study the use of emulsifiers in sponge cake formulations. As we prepare for the upcoming crop quality testing that occurs during wheat harvest, we will begin interviewing candidates for a seasonal lab assistant. Jayne, Janice and Mike are meeting with Dave Stone, Director of the Food Innovation Center to discuss our ongoing partnership and opportunities for continued collaboration. Jayne and Mike attend the now weekly crop condition meetings hosted by U.S. Wheat Associates to monitor crop conditions and progress across the country.
