This week, the Executive Team of the Japan Flour Millers Association embarked on a Pacific Northwest tour, visiting the Wheat Marketing Center (WMC) in Portland. The tour was organized by US Wheat Associates. The Oregon State University Food Innovation Center is collaborating with the WMC Technical Team to host an immersive Baking Science Workshop. This workshop was thoughtfully designed for a diverse audience, including enthusiastic hobbyists, home bakers, and industry professionals. Participants delved into the intricate scientific aspects of grains, flour, and the art of baking.
