This week we host a Philippine Trade Team sponsored by US Wheat Associates. The Philippines imports over 7.2 million metric tons of US wheat per year, making them one of the largest and valued trade partners for U.S. grown wheat, all moving through the Port of Portland. Later in the week, WMC welcomes the Idaho Legislative tour sponsored by the Idaho Wheat Commission and Idaho Grain Producers Association. Wheat Marketing Center is one of many informational visits legislators make to better understand the importance and value of wheat in our global trade relations and trade policy.
